Hello Bluegrassers,
Time to start planning to come to this month’s Back Porch Bluegrass.
Come on down to our regular venue, Silverdale Normal School Common Room, Silverdale Rd, Hamilton, at the NEW start time of 2.30 pm.
If you’d like to perform, bring your banjo, guitar, mandolin, fiddle etc,and play some songs for the ‘whiteboard’ concert. The Back Porch Bluegrass Band will be on hand to help out anyone who wants to add some bluegrass accompaniment to their songs (if it’s something really complicated, you might need a chord chart!). Maybe you don’t have anything for the concert, but you just want to join in the jam session – bring your instruments and voices, and we’ll make sure you can participate.
For only $5 admission, you get an afternoon of memorable music, accompanied by a cup of tea, coffee and maybe a biscuit. Bring your friends, and let’s have a great time playing and listening to music.
Start is at 2.30pm with the Whiteboard concert, ending at about 5.00pm after the jam session.
PLEASE NOTE There will be no October 2015 meeting, and the next meeting will be on the 5th Sunday which is November 29th.
